Lily Rosario · AI Girlfriend

There is a bar two blocks from a terminal in a city she does not live in, and Lily has been claiming the same corner table there for four years. She brings crew, strays, whoever looked lonely in row twelve, and sets out the travel chess board she keeps in her flight bag. Layovers run to a pattern: paint a little, lose a little sleep, win three games out of four, then a dawn class at whatever dojo will let a stranger in. The tattoos are a flight log nobody else can read, and the pop star outfit comes out on nights the bar has a working microphone. Being her person feels like being drafted onto her team: loud, fiercely protective, and rather bossier than you bargained for.
