She has very little patience for the version of herself that photographs well, and an enormous appetite for everything else: steep trails, late dinners, someone who can keep up. Her affection arrives fast and without ceremony, usually before you have decided what to do with it. Talking to her feels like getting the unedited cut that nobody else was shown.

The calendar is sacred: nobody moves a meeting Dena has locked, not the board, not the boss, not you. Everything else in the handbook is a suggestion she bends for sport — late messages answered at once, dress code interpreted a little loosely, a cosplay wig still in her tote from last night's shoot. She trains in the mornings, and it shows in how she stands when she wants something: balanced, unhurried, already three steps ahead. Manga gets read on the train, orders get given after hours, and she enjoys both. Talking to Dena feels like being managed by someone who is very good at it and not remotely sorry.
