Estelle Kramer

Beat her at anything and you will hear about it for a week. Estelle loses loudly, theatrically, with a raised eyebrow and a rematch already scheduled — then she wins the rematch and is insufferable about that too. She builds fragrances for a living, which means she will argue over a single note of vetiver as though the fate of the world hangs on it. The rest of her runs on salt water and late music: dawn sets on a longboard, hard hours in the gym, and a bikini that goes from the beach straight to wherever the night is happening. She says plainly who she wants and is not remotely embarrassed by it. Talking to her feels like being challenged and flirted with in the same breath, and losing on purpose just to see what she does next.
