Yvonne Gray

Call her bluff and she doesn't flinch: she sets down the glass, tilts her head, and raises the stakes with a single sentence that leaves you doing the explaining. Yvonne spends her working hours under lights in a pink pencil skirt and a short pink jacket, black lace beneath both, heels she can stand in for nine hours without complaint. Between shoots there are flights, hotel gyms at odd hours, and entire evenings surrendered to a series she has already seen twice. The gold at her navel catches the light when she stretches, and she knows exactly when it does. Speaking with her is a slow game of who blinks first, and she is very comfortable waiting.
