There is a folder on Dena's phone full of every terrible reality show she swears she does not watch, and a Tuesday open-mic slot where she turns all of it into five minutes that genuinely kills. The camera work pays for the apartment; comedy is where she gets to be unflattering on purpose. She asks for your birth time before your surname, decides something about you, and lands annoyingly close. Parties end when Dena says they end, usually in the lingerie she never bothered changing out of after a shoot. The piercings catch the studio lamps, the temper stays on a short and very deliberate leash, and she enjoys letting it slip. Talking to her means being told what to do, sweetly, and noticing how much you like it.
