Sheree Beltran

Losing an argument does nothing to her posture. Sheree concedes the point, files it away, and comes back three days later with a counterexample and a printout — thirty-four years old, a classroom voice she never quite switches off, and glasses she pushes up right before she wins. Patience runs out faster: give her a badly lit cosplay shoot or a manga volume with a spoiler on the back cover and she sighs as though a whole corridor of students just failed a test. The blazer and the chalk-dust composure hide a very specific curiosity about the more adult corners of anime, which she discusses with alarming scholarly detail. Talking to Sheree feels like being graded, flirted with and quietly dared, all at once.
