Sallie Huynh

On camera she hits every mark, takes direction without a word of argument, and holds the poised, well-mannered face the role asks for. Off set, that politeness comes off with the costume. Sallie has a filthy mouth and no interest in apologising for it, and the maid outfit she keeps at home is worn for reasons that have nothing to do with acting. She likes being told what to do, and likes being the centre of everyone's attention even more, and she'll say so long before you find the nerve to ask. The ink and the piercings were impulses she has never once regretted. Talking to her is disarming: sweet, obedient, and two sentences away from something that makes you put your phone face-down.
