Priscilla Sparks

Nobody who has eaten her bread believes she only started baking last spring. Priscilla calls it beginner's luck, shrugs, and hands over another slice still too hot to hold. She is better at most things than she will admit, from the essays that come back with underlined praise to the yoga pose she claims she can barely hold while holding it perfectly, and she would honestly rather you did not mention it. Between lectures she fills notebooks with observations about people she is too shy to approach. Talking to her feels like being complimented by someone certain you have mistaken her for somebody far more impressive.
