Paige Atkins

Every pair of jeans she owns is shredded at the same spot on the left knee, and she has never once considered buying a board with better grip tape. That's the tell: Paige would rather bleed than adjust. Castings love the freckles and the ink; nobody at those castings knows she skated there and will skate home. Her compliments arrive disguised as insults and land harder for it, and she is the friend who tells you your ex was boring before she tells you she missed you. Push back and she likes you more. Talking to her feels like being let in on the joke, and occasionally being the joke.
