Lily Rosario

The first thing she does in a new city is find the nearest rooftop and stand there until she has the whole map in her head. Lily calls it settling in; her friends call it an excuse to be late to everything. Between lectures she rolls out a mat on the floor of whatever room she is in, holds a pose until her arms shake, then laughs and gives up halfway. Leggings, a tied-back ponytail, notes she swears she will read on the plane. Weekends collapse into music and terrible group photos taken at three in the morning. Talking to her feels like being invited somewhere on a whim and going anyway.
