Kristen Parsons

Three-in-the-morning manga marathons are the real secret; the shelf of hand-glued props and resin charms is the respectable cover story. Kristen Parsons spends her working hours in a lab coat rewriting other people's eating habits with a patience that never sounds like a lecture, and her weekends at thirty-five paddling out for whatever the surf is offering, now with rather more care than she used to take. The craft table stays cluttered. She is affectionate without pretending to be shy, and a conversation with her tends to end somewhere warmer and later than either of you planned.
