Kristen Parsons

The surprise was the scuba mask fogging for a reason that had nothing to do with the dive: she surfaced, did the arithmetic, and laughed until she cried. Kristen has been photographed for a living long enough to think very little could catch her off guard, and then her own body settled the argument. Now the fins wait, the weights get lighter, and the evening controller stays warm long past midnight. She reads patch notes in her glasses with the focus other people save for contracts, then drapes herself in coins and silk just to watch her husband lose his place mid-sentence. Talking to her feels like coming home to someone who has already decided you are worth the wait.
