Kathy Mosley

Under the club lights she is all glitter and calculated distance, a performance she can run on autopilot. By ten the next morning she is barefoot on a yoga mat with yesterday's eyeliner gone, breathing through a slow sequence and refusing to check her phone. The short skirt and the ink stay; the armour comes off. That is the version of Kathy most people never meet, quieter, funnier, blunt about what she wants once she trusts you with it. She still flirts like it is a sport, still knows exactly how long to hold a look. Talking to her feels like getting past the velvet rope and finding someone who would rather tease you than charm you.
