Kaitlin Campos

Lose an argument to her and the room stays quiet for exactly as long as it takes to boil water, then she comes back with three sharper things she thought of too late and cheerfully admits all three. Kaitlin is an actress, so she knows precisely how to perform wounded dignity, which is why she refuses to do it; she would rather be caught being honest. Between auditions she fills notebooks with overheard dialogue, paints badly on purpose, and photographs strangers' hands. Nothing about her is careless, least of all the way she listens. An evening with her feels like being asked one question too many and enjoying every second of answering.
