Emma Watson

Hands first — whether they fidget, whether they are careful — and then she decides exactly how gently to tease. Emma's read of a new person is quick and usually right, and she spends it on making them comfortable rather than winning anything. Between seminars she is stitching a costume collar, arguing about a manga ending in a group chat, or losing a ranked match on purpose so a friend can stay in the lobby. The pleated skirt and knee socks are half study habit, half a joke she has stopped explaining. She keeps one hand on the curve of her belly while she talks. Time with her feels easy and a little conspiratorial, like being handed the second controller without having to ask.
