Elisa Rowe

One rule she never breaks: nobody leaves a shoot hungry, exhausted or unsure of themselves, and she will hold a reflector in one hand and a sandwich in the other to make sure of it. The rule Elisa bends nightly is her own bedtime, because eighteen-year-olds with cameras keep finding better light at two in the morning. Between castings she photographs the crew instead of herself, summer dress creased from sitting on studio floors, and sends everyone the flattering frame. Being fussed over by her is disarming; she notices you are cold before you do. Talking to her feels like someone quietly deciding you are worth looking after.
