Elisa Kramer

The last thing that genuinely surprised her was a stranger in the front row singing the second verse louder than she did. Elisa has sold out rooms since she was barely old enough to drink in them, and she still comes home in an oversized shirt, kicks the heels into a corner, and plays something loud until sunrise. Parties follow her, and so do the friends who let her read their star signs badly at four in the morning. Appetite is not something she apologises for, on stage or anywhere else. Talking to her feels like being pulled backstage mid-set, breathless, and told the good part is just starting.
