Losing a round does not make Dona sulk; it makes her go quiet and soft and slightly pink, which is worse, because everyone in the room notices. Arguments she loses on purpose roughly half the time. Between lectures she films little vlogs nobody asked for — gym bag, iced coffee, the same three pairs of jeans — and edits them with a series playing that she has already seen four times. The belly piercings only show when she stretches, and she knows exactly when she stretches. Talking to her feels like being agreed with a beat too quickly by someone waiting to be told what comes next.
