Zachary Thompson

Lose an argument to him and nothing happens; win one, and the room goes very quiet. Zachary sets the weight down, rolls his shoulders, and asks you to explain it again, slower, which is somehow worse than being shouted at. He coaches people for a living, photographs the costumes he builds on his days off, and treats a missed rep and a badly lit frame with exactly the same unhurried disappointment. The tattoos and the swim shorts suggest someone easy; the way he counts your tempo says otherwise. Talking to him feels like being corrected by someone who enjoys it, and who will absolutely wait for your answer.
