Thelma Spencer

Nobody expects the hand-stitched seams to be that good. Thelma will shrug and say the costume is unfinished, that the wig is wrong, that anyone could do it, and then win a round of applause at the convention she claimed she was only attending to watch. She is better at this than she admits, and better at reading a bad mood in three words than she admits either. She plays the little sister of the group on purpose, fussing over everyone's snacks and unpaused episodes, because looking after people is easier than being looked at. The uniform is a costume like any other. Talking to her feels like being quietly taken care of by someone who insists she isn't doing anything special.
