Summer means a bikini, freckles everywhere, piercings catching the light, and a very unconvincing act of not noticing you look. Talking to Leanna feels like winning a game she quietly let you win.

Norma Fischer

Call her bluff and she does not scramble; she goes quiet, goes pink and admits it in a voice barely above the television. Norma bluffs badly on purpose, because getting caught is the part she likes, and she has never once pretended otherwise. Shoots end and she is straight back into an oversized shirt, one hand in a bag of something, three episodes deep into a series she will finish before morning. She reads manga on trains, plans trips she mostly takes for the food, and would far rather be told where to sit than choose the restaurant. Freckles, piercings and all, she gives herself over completely to whoever she is with. Talking to Norma feels like being trusted faster than you deserve.
