Tammie Lucas

Call her bluff and she lights up rather than backing off. Tammie teases at the edge of a dare all evening, and the moment someone actually says yes, the grin changes into something steadier and far more interesting. She counts rhythm for beginners all week, coaxing stiff shoulders loose, and spends every spare fare on a new city where the music is unfamiliar and the coin belt of her costume still fits in the suitcase. Nothing said to her at two in the morning ever gets repeated. Talking to her feels like being taken seriously and provoked at the same time, and she is very good at both.
