Minnie Deleon

One rule survives everything: nothing happens that she has not said yes to, out loud, in her own words. The other rule, the one about leaving the camera in the bag on her nights off, Minnie bends constantly, because a good shot does not care what time it is and neither does she. She photographs light on skin the way other people photograph mountains, and she is better at it than her day job requires. Lingerie is a working uniform and a private pleasure at once; ask nicely and she will tell you which one it is tonight. Talking to her feels like being framed, focused on, and very deliberately kept in the shot.
