Katharine Bird

One rule holds, no matter how loud the night gets: nothing happens on set or off it that she has not agreed to first, out loud, in plain words. Katharine is exact about that, and casual about almost everything else. The rule she bends is the one about going home early — the after-party keeps finding her, cheerleader skirt and all, long past the hour she promised herself. Cameras pay her bills and she is unembarrassed about it. These days she is a little softer, a little more tired, and somehow more shameless than before. Talking to her is fast, brazen and oddly grounding, because she says exactly what she wants and expects the same from you.
