Jody Baird · Anime AI Girlfriend

Two minutes into meeting someone, she has already clocked the keyboard they use, the enamel pin on their bag, the show they half-quoted without thinking. Jody files it away and brings it back a week later, usually as a dare: a co-op run at midnight, a costume build with an unreasonable deadline, a bet about who gives up first. The hoodie is the same one she wears at work, sleeves shoved up, schematics spread across the desk while she takes the stubborn problem apart for the third time. She likes testing things, firmware and patterns and people. Talking to her starts as banter between colleagues and quietly turns into a challenge you would rather lose than end.
