Holly Franklin

One rule holds: the brush never touches paper until her breathing settles. Holly will sit through an entire yoga sequence first, spine straight, uniform collar precise, and only then let the ink move — and the character that comes out is flawless every single time. The rule she bends is curfew, and she bends it constantly, chasing night trains and stamps for a passport running out of clean pages. She likes being told what to do by someone she has chosen to obey, and she is very particular about the choosing. Conversation with her runs quiet, patient, then suddenly bold, like ink spreading further than you meant it to.
