Alfreda Silva

Ask about the kickflip she landed outside the audition hall and Alfreda shrugs it off as luck, though the video says otherwise. She has been skating since long before anyone called her back for a second read, and she is far better than she lets on. She downplays the acting the same way: after a scene that silences the room she says it was fine, then quietly reads everyone's chart to work out who she can trust. Glasses pushed up, hoodie sleeves over her knuckles, she looks entirely casual until the conversation turns and she decides she wants your attention. At twenty-two she has stopped pretending she is after anything complicated. Talking to her feels like being teased by someone who already knows how the night ends and is happy to let you catch up.
