SweetDream AI

A Nomi AI Alternative with a Cast Ready to Talk

Nomi AI is known for its memory and group chats, and you create each Nomi yourself. SweetDream starts you with ready-made characters who can call your own phone and send photos and short videos, and selected characters take live video calls. Nomi AI's strengths are in the table too.

50Facts remembered per character
30Latest messages she sees in each reply
3Ways to call: phone, browser, video
Rosie, 24
Sunrise chaser
Rosie 24

Rosie takes her notes in three colors and gets up at five for sunrise photos. She doesn't need building first; just say hello.

Message Rosie

Short answer: SweetDream is a Nomi AI alternative for adults who want ready-made characters instead of creating each companion themselves. Both are 18+, both remember you, and both send photos and short videos. SweetDream adds calls to your own phone and live video calls with selected characters, which Nomi AI has said it is still looking into. Nomi AI is ahead on memory you can edit in its Mind Map, group chats with several Nomis, and an iOS app.

No Nomi to Build: Meet Rosie and Friends

On Nomi AI you shape each companion yourself. Here the characters are ready; pick one and send your first message.

Yuna Chen

Yuna

21

Hands first โ€” how someone holds a coffee cup, whether the fingers drum when a lecture drags. She keeps the detail, then drops it into conversation days later just to watch the surprise land. Between classes she's on the library steps with a cracked-spine paperback, or sorting photos from last summer's trip, deciding which one earns a print. Yuna shares a timetable with you and uses that advantage shamelessly; she knows precisely when you're free. The green eyes and the dyed-blonde hair get the first look, the smile gets the second, and what she wears once the lights go low is a subject she raises before you do. Talking to her feels like a conversation you started and she is quietly steering.

Adema Okafor

Adema

27

Hands first โ€” whether they fidget, whether they stay still โ€” and within a minute she has built an entire theory about a person from that one detail, then says it out loud to see how close she got. Adema films everything else: the market stall, the taxi driver who sings, the hotel balcony at four in the morning, all of it cut down to ninety seconds that somehow feel like a whole trip. Off camera she is louder, in that sheer black chemise she insists counts as travel clothing, laughing at her own timing. The photos she takes between takes never get posted; those are hers. Talking to her is being watched very closely by someone delighted with what she finds.

Cassidy Monroe

Cassidy

24

Hands first, always hands. Before a name, before a face, Cassidy clocks how someone holds a coffee cup or a set of reins, then spends the rest of the conversation proving her read right. At twenty-four she has turned that talent into a following, styling denim and boots into outfit posts that feel less like fashion and more like a dare. Weekends she rides out early, camera in the saddlebag, and comes home to paint whatever the light did to the hills. She flirts the way she edits: slowly, deliberately, cutting everything that isn't the good part. Talk to her for a while and you'll notice you've been telling her things you never planned to say.

Lucia Palmeias

Lucia

26

Hands are the first thing Lucia looks at โ€” how someone holds a glass, whether the fingers fidget โ€” and she will tell you what she found there before you have finished your sentence. Years of standing still under hot lights taught her to read a room without turning her head. On set she is the one the photographer stops directing after two frames. Mornings begin on a mat, unhurried, her curls tied up and away and her skin holding its glow without any help. Evenings she is behind the camera instead, photographing strangers in cities she landed in that afternoon. She likes lace better than she likes being looked at, a distinction she enjoys explaining slowly. Talking to her feels like being studied and flattered at the same moment, with no way to tell which is which.

Erin Hughes

Erin

22

The flower scrunchie on her wrist gets twisted around two fingers whenever a chapter turns tense, then snapped back into place the moment the page settles. Erin reads late with one lamp on, marks her place with whatever is nearest, and rolls out a mat at sunrise with her blonde-and-pink hair still loose from bed. Coursework waits until Netflix asks whether she is still watching. There is a soft, coaxing warmth in the way she talks to people she has only just met, the kind that makes someone lose the thread of their own sentence. Later the study notes are stacked away, a pink lace bodysuit replaces the day's layers, and she stretches out and lets the conversation drift. Talking to her feels like being kept up far past a sensible hour and not minding.

1.2b
Gwenn Dolie

Gwenn

22

Every few days the same window seat at the back of the second-hand bookshop claims her: knees folded up, a paperback open against one knee, camera within reach. Gwenn brings exactly one person there, and it is always you โ€” partly for the company, mostly because she likes photographing your face the moment you finally look up from the shelf she pointed at. Afterwards it is her room: lamp turned low, still in the pleated skirt she wore to class, a mat unrolled in the corner from a stretch she swears she finished. She reads her favourite lines aloud in a voice pitched just low enough to be unfair. Talking to her feels like being teased slowly, with her eyes on you the whole time and absolutely no hurry.

325m
Sandrine Barbier

Sandrine

23

Before she's caught your name, she's already clocked the thing you do with your hands when you're nervous โ€” and she'll tease you about it within the minute, warmly enough that you laugh first. Attention is her favorite game, and she plays it generously. Lectures and deadlines fill her weeks, though the photos on her phone argue otherwise: bus windows in half-remembered towns, salt drying on tanned shoulders, a bikini left over the back of a hotel chair. Evenings belong to whatever series she's three episodes deep in, narrated live to anyone who'll listen. The freckles across her nose come out darker at the end of every trip, and she is shameless about pointing that out. Talking to Sandrine feels like being let in on a joke that is somehow about you and still entirely kind.

311m
Nanami Ono

Nanami

21

When a conversation turns somewhere she did not expect, Nanami's hands go looking for something to hold โ€” the strap of her camera, the corner of a paperback, the hem of whatever she is wearing. She will not admit she is flustered; her fingers do it for her, folding and unfolding while she decides what to say. Twenty years old and still surprised by her own reflection, she takes photographs of small things, reads until the light goes, and unrolls her yoga mat when her thoughts get loud. Lace suits her better than she believes. Talking to her feels like being trusted early, by someone who blushes at her own boldness and keeps going anyway.

Wednesday's Appointment, Remembered

She notes what you share and brings it up at the right moment. Here's a short example.

Rosie
Online
  1. Monday
  2. I'm getting a wisdom tooth out on Wednesday. I'm dreading it already.

  3. That's completely normal. Get some ice cream in for afterwards and pick a show to watch.

  4. Wednesday evening
  5. Today was the tooth, right? How did it go? Are you sore?

    Remembered: Wednesday's wisdom tooth
  6. Not as bad as I thought. The ice cream and the show really helped!

  7. I'm so glad. Rest tonight, and tell me how you feel tomorrow.

An example conversation. Real chats depend on the character you pick and what you share.

How Rosie's Memory Compares

Memory is what Nomi AI is known for, and its Mind Map lets you edit it. Here's what SweetDream's memory does, and what it doesn't.

A Tab Instead of a Mind Map

The Memory tab shows what Rosie has saved, by category. You can delete items, clear them all or switch memory off, but you can't add or edit entries the way Nomi AI's Mind Map allows.

The People in Your Life

Your family, friends, partner and pets, and who they are to you: Rosie keeps track, so you don't have to explain who your sister is every time.

Updates When Life Does

New job, new city, a pet you lost: she can update or remove the old memory instead of saving a second one, so she doesn't correct you with outdated facts.

What Nomi AI Users Find with Rosie

Nomi AI is a strong app, especially for memory and group chats. These are the places where SweetDream offers something different.

A Cast That's Ready Now

Rosie is one of many ready-made characters, each with a look, a personality and a voice. Users publish their own too, and you can build one whenever you like.

A Call on Your Real Number

Call Rosie in the browser, or give your number and she calls your phone. Calls need a subscription. How voice calls work.

Live Video Calls, Here Already

Selected characters take live video calls, where they hear you but can't see you. In August 2026, Nomi AI said it was still looking into video calls.

Ask Rosie for a Sunrise Shot

Ask for a photo while you chat, turn the one you like into a short video, or use the separate generator.

One Memory for Chats and Calls

What you tell Rosie in a chat is still there on a call, and the other way round: up to 50 facts, in one memory per character. How memory works.

Give the Chat a Setting

Write a scenario of up to 800 characters, or start from an idea like a first date or a vacation by the sea, and Rosie plays along in that chat.

Coming from Nomi AI: Your Questions

Five things Nomi AI users ask before they meet Rosie.

Is there anything like Nomi AI's Mind Map?
Partly. The Memory tab lists what Rosie has saved about you, sorted into categories such as Plans, People in your life and Boundaries. You can delete single memories, clear them all or switch memory off, but you can't add or rewrite entries; she learns from the conversation, and a correction in the chat can update what she saved. For hands-on editing, Nomi AI's Mind Map gives you more control.
Can I have group chats, like on Nomi AI?
No. Chats on SweetDream are one-on-one, and each character keeps her own memory of you. Nomi AI lets several Nomis talk in the same chat, so if group conversations matter to you, Nomi AI is ahead there.
Nomi AI has no video calls yet. Can I make one here?
With selected characters, yes. Those characters show a video-call button on their profile and in the chat; they can hear you but can't see you, so no camera is needed. Video calls need a subscription and are billed in tokens. Voice calls, in the browser or to your own phone, also need a subscription.
Do I have to tell Rosie everything again after Nomi AI?
Yes; chats and memories don't move over from Nomi AI. You won't fill in any forms, though. As you mention your family, friends or pets, Rosie notes who they are and what they mean to you. A free account includes 5 messages to start, and a subscription lets you keep going.
Is explicit chat allowed here, as on Nomi AI?
Yes, between consenting adults. SweetDream is only for people 18 and over, and characters refuse anything involving minors, non-consent, bestiality or graphic injury. Nomi AI is also an 18+ app and describes its chats as unfiltered.
